Come and meet Mary's team of big waggly huskies. Pet them and take keepsake
photos. Laugh at them playing together as they romp in the dog yard. Mary will tell you
about the husky breed and about some of her training techniques.

Stroll through Mary's garden. Then, while relaxing and enjoying light
refreshments in her sunny log cabin home, learn about her experiences racing, mushing, and
living in Alaska as she shares the small wonders, simple gifts, and joys of her
adventurous life.

Mary was the first woman to finish the 1,049 mile Iditarod Sled Dog
Race. In international racing, she and her team ran in the Yukon Quest and the Hope Race
from Alaska to Siberia. But even more than competition, Mary enjoys the pure pleasure of
long Spring trips with her dogs, exploring the wild country of Alaska and meeting the
people who live in the "bush" communities of Alaska.
Mary's five books and a televised (PBS) featured video will be available, and there will
be time for her to write a personal inscription for yourself or as a special gift to take
home.
